Renovation of Abu Tig Hospital, Asyut

The hospital consists of 5 floors with a capacity of 142 inpatient beds. There are 56 patient rooms, 6 on-call rooms, 6 other rooms for nurses, 17 outpatient clinics, 8 neonatal intensive care units and 9 premature-babies’ incubators.  

The operations section includes 6 operation theaters, 4 of which are for surgeries and 2 for the one-day operations. It also houses an endoscopy department, a laboratory for the blood bank and a kidney dialysis department. The developments aim to provide comprehensive healthcare services needed by the citizens. The hospital was developed at a cost of EGP 478.9 million.
