President El-Sisi Meets the Chief Executive Officer of AUDA-NEPAD

Today, President Abdel Fattah El-Sisi met with Chief Executive Officer of the African Union Development Agency ( AUDA-NEPAD), Ms Nardos Bekele-Thomas.

The Spokesperson for the Presidency, Counselor Ahmed Fahmy, said the meeting followed-up on the executive position of the priorities of Egypt's current chairmanship of NEPAD, which represents the developmental arm of the African Union, during the period from 2023-2025, particularly with regard to mobilizing financial resources that would enable the implementation of the pioneering continental projects of Africa's development agenda 2063. This is in addition to strengthening efforts exerted to achieve continental integration, particularly the Continental Free Trade Agreement and supporting initiatives aimed at advancing development in Africa, notably in infrastructure projects and industrial transformation.
