President El-Sisi Meets with Advisor to the King of Bahrain for Diplomatic Affairs

Today, Presient Abdel Fattah El-Sisi met with Shaikh Khalid bin Ahmed, Advisor to the King of Bahrain for Diplomatic Affairs, in the presence of Egyptian Minister of Foreign Affairs Ambassador Sameh Shoukry and Bahrain’s Ambassador to Cairo H.E. H.E. Hesham bin Mohamed Al-Jowdar.
The Spokesman for the Egyptian Presidency stated that President El-Sisi welcomed the Bahraini official’s visit to Cairo, asking to have his greetings conveyed to His Majesty King Hamad bin Isa. The President pointed out the distinguished Egyptian -Bahraini relations and the consensus of views and common vision between Egypt and Bahrain regarding all issues.
For his part, Shaikh Khalid bin Ahmed expressed how honored he was to meet President El-Sisi. He conveyed to the President the greetings of His Majesty King Hamad bin Isa and His Majesty’s keenness to strengthen the strong bond between both countries in a manner that would promote security and stability in the region. He also conveyed the King’s commendation of the President’s efforts in pushing forward common Arab efforts and maintaining regional peace and security in this critical phase where challenges are intensifying.
The Spokesman also stated that the meeting discussed means to enhance bilateral relations across all fields, especially with regard to the preparations of the joint committee between the two countries that is to be convened during the first quarter of 2022.
The meeting also addressed the latest regional developments and issues of common interest. In this regard, it was agreed to strengthen mutual coordination in the coming period between both countries to meet the challenges facing the Arab nation.
