President El-Sisi Updated on the Progress of Developing Ministry of Interior’s Facilities in Egypt

President Abdel Fattah El-Sisi met today with Prime Minister Dr. Mostafa Madbouly, Minister of Defense and Military Production General Mohamed Zaki, Minister of Interior Mr. Mahmoud Tawfik, Presidential Advisor for Urban Planning Major General Amir Sayed Ahmed, Chairman of the Engineering Authority of the Armed Forces Major General Ihab Al-Far, First Assistant Minister of Interior for Financial Affairs Major General Naseer Khalil, Assistant Minister of Interior for Security Forces Major General Reda Sweilam, Head of the Training Branch of the Armed Forces Operations Authority Staff Brigadier General Ahmed Mahdy, and Colonel Amr Abdel Aziz working in the Financial Affairs Sector of the Ministry of Interior.

The Spokesman for the Egyptian Presidency stated that President El-Sisi directed that the new facilities of the Ministry of Interior should be regarded as integrated centers and complexes that include the largest number of services provided to citizens. The President also directed that the choice of location should be taken into account in a way that achieves security standards and ease the movement of citizens in integration with new roads and axes nationwide.

In this context, the Minister of Interior presented the Ministry's strategy to redistribute a number of its facilities outside the residential blocks in various governorates across the Republic. Additionally, securing such housing blocks efficiently and tightening control over them were also underpinned by the President for ensuring the rapid intervention and deployment of police elements.
