Arab Republic of Egypt Mourns Death of the President of the United Arab Emirates

Today, the Arab nation lost one of its loyal symbols, President of the sisterly United Arab Emirates, the late Sheikh Khalifa bin Zayed Al Nahyan; a wise leader who dedicated his life to his country and extended generously the hands of the UAE to construct, support and cooperate with all the countries of the Arab and Islamic nations, a continuum of the UAE’s long history of munificence established by his father, the late Sheikh Zayed Al Nahyan, the wise man of the Arabs, inscribing new pages of goodness and development, leading to the UAE's renaissance and modernity, to which the world attested.

The leadership, government and people of Egypt have not and will not forget the supportive and strong positions of Sheikh Khalifa Al Nahyan during the most critical of circumstances, which history has recorded and engraved in gleaming letters.

President Abdel Fattah El-Sisi mourns for Egypt, the brotherly Emirati people, and both the Arab and Islamic nations, the loss of a brother and a friend among the dearest men. On his behalf and behalf of Egypt, President El-Sisi offers sincere condolences to the honorable Al Nahyan family and to the rulers, sheikhs and people of the UAE, asking Allah Almighty to extend his vast mercy to the honorable deceased, as a reward for what he presented to his people and his nation.
