President El-Sisi Meets the Minister of Foreign Affairs, Emigration and Egyptian Expatriates

Today, President Abdel Fattah El-Sisi met with Minister of Foreign Affairs, Emigration and Egyptian Expatriates, Dr. Badr Abdel-Atty.

Spokesman for the Presidency, Ambassador Ahmed Fahmy, said the President was briefed on the key outcomes of Egypt’s participation in the high-level segment of the 79th session of the United Nations General Assembly, the UNGA. During the session’s various relevant meetings, Egypt outlined its vision and stances on regional and international issues, primarily “The Summit of the Future”. The summit adopted a global charter that aims to strengthen global governance through the development and reform of multilateral international institutions, particularly in the face of current challenges in the areas of peace and security, sustainable development, climate change and science and technology.

Dr. Abdel-Atty also reviewed the outcomes of his bilateral meetings and discussions during the UNGA session on current regional and international developments.
