President Abdel Fattah El-Sisi met today with Prime Minister Mostafa Madbouly, Minister of Electricity and Renewable Energy Dr. Mohamed Shaker, Minister of Petroleum and Mineral Resources Eng. Tarek El-Molla, Minister of Trade and Industry Mrs. Nevine Gamea, Advisor to the President of the Republic for Financial Affairs Major General Mohamed Amin, and Chairman of the Financial Affairs Authority of the Armed Forces Major General Ahmed Al-Shazly.
The Spokesman for the Egyptian Presidency stated that the meeting discussed the developments of a number of projects in the field of petroleum industries nationwide.
The President stressed the importance of raising the efficiency of the petroleum products and services system and expanding the relevant investments. Thus, this important petroleum investment field would help support the national economy and secure the needs of the local market.
The meeting addressed the most prominent developments in petroleum projects nationwide, especially with regard to the current cooperation situation with international oil companies, in the field of research, exploration and new discoveries in the energy sector. Furthermore, the continuous efforts aimed at providing the petroleum products needed to advance production and development in the country were showcased.
