President El-Sisi Receives CEO of Siemens AG

President Abdel Fattah El-Sisi received today President and Chief Executive Officer of Siemens AG Mr. Joe Kaeser. Prime Minister Dr. Mostafa Madbouly, Minister of Electricity and Renewable Energy, Dr. Mohamed Shaker, and Senior Executive Vice President, Power and Gas, Siemens Middle East, Mr. Karim Amin have also attended the meeting.

The Spokesman for the Egyptian Presidency said that Mr. Joe Kaeser updated the President on the implementation status of the company's projects in Egypt. Mr. Joe Kaeser expressed the aspiration of "Siemens" to develop its successful activity in Egypt, especially in the sectors of intelligent transportation systems and the digitization of the field of industry, against the backdrop of the unprecedented achievements the company has made through its fruitful cooperation with the Egyptian government in light of a favorable investment climate that is highly supported and closely followed up on by the President.

For his part, the President expressed appreciation for the achievements made by "Siemens" in implementing development projects in Egypt and its successful experience in this respect. President El-Sisi also expressed his keenness to benefit from the company's expertise in several development sectors in the field of new and renewable energy and electrical interconnection projects, provide vocational training for Egyptians to qualify technically and professionally in a manner that establishes the values of work perfection, performance and production accuracy.
