President El-Sisi Receives Lürssen CEO

President Abdel Fattah El-Sisi received today CEO of Lürssen, an international shipbuilding German company, Mr. Peter Lürssen, in the presence of Commander of the Navy Vice Admiral Ahmed Khaled, Head of the Navy’s Armament Division Rear Admiral Mohamed Shalaby, and Captain Mohamed Al-Makhzangi of the Naval Forces Command.

The Spokesman for the Egyptian Presidency stated that the meeting discussed the development of the marine industry system and plans concerning the technological development this strategic industry needs.

These development efforts are made by the State for it attaches great importance to upgrading the marine and shipbuilding industries in all their aspects, using the latest modern technologies. To that end, the training programs provided to qualify the manpower, including engineers and technicians, have to be comprehensively developed.
