President Abdel Fattah El-Sisi congratulated Ugandan President Yoweri Museveni on winning another term in the presidential elections.
The Spokesman for the Egyptian Presidency stated that President El-Sisi sent a telegram of congratulations to Ugandan President Yoweri Museveni on being re-elected for another term in which he stated:
“It gives me great pleasure to extend to Your Excellency the most sincere and heartfelt congratulations and best wishes on your re-election as President of the Republic of Uganda.
I am certain that your re-election for a new term will give you the opportunity to continue the journey of giving and achievements in the service of your brotherly people.
I would also like to express my aspiration to work together in the coming years to open new horizons for strengthening our bilateral relations and to make the most of the available capabilities in order to realize the hopes and aspirations of our two brotherly peoples. Mr. President and dear brother, I wish you all the success during the new presidential term and the brotherly people of Uganda more development, progress and prosperity."
