The Supreme Council of the Armed Forces ruled Egypt from February 12, 2011 to June 29, 2012.
Soon after late President Mohamed Hosni Mubarak stepped down, the Supreme Council of the Armed Forces administered Egypt’s affairs from February 12, 2011 to June 29, 2012.
The Council was led then by Field Marshal / Mohamed Hussein Tantawi, Head of the Supreme Council of the Armed Forces and Minister of Defense and Military Production.
