The Inauguration of Axis “45” in Alexandria Port

Axis 54 west of Alexandria is one of the major new axes that have been established. It is a free link, connecting Alexandria Port with the international coastal highway at Gate 54 area (Bridge 54), with a length of 2.3 km and a width of 17.6 m.

This axis aims to:

Achieve smooth and easy traffic flow and transporting of goods and cargoes from Alexandria Port to the international coastal road.
Reduce traffic congestion and pressure in Al-Max Street and Al-Wardian area.
Eliminate the congestion of heavy transport vehicles in the public streets, in western Alexandria.
