The industrial epics include the complex of the marble and granite factories, which consists of 5 marble factories, two granite factories and a technical processing plant. This complex was established on an area of 200 thousand square meters and the production capacity of the complex is 3.6 million square meters annually. This giant project was established in cooperation with major Egyptian and Italian companies specialized in establishing granite production, cutting and processing lines for such giant projects. The complex produces various types of marble and granite with different dimensions and sizes used for sculpting and construction purposes.
The project is shown in the documentary film "A National Epic by Egyptian Hands" produced by the Armed Forces Morale Affairs Department (44:15 to 45:45).
