• West Meghagha Transformer Station was established on an area of 50 thousand square meters "Adwa" center, north of Minya Governorate.

• The plant operates with a high voltage between 220 and 500 kV, and a capacity of 1500 MVA.

• The new station is considered one of the giant stations that will serve the governorates of Upper Egypt as the project was implemented through a coalition between the companies "Siemens" and "El-Sewedy Electric" with the aim of distributing the energy generated from the "Ghayada" power plant in Beni Suef, and improving the electricity network across Egypt.

• The plant includes two transformers each with a capacity of 750 MVA. It represents the largest capacity of the transformers that were introduced to the Egyptian and Middle East network. The plant is also distinguished by the quality of the gas-insulated stations, which are of high technology, in terms of efficiency and life span.

The project is shown in the attached video (2:13:53 to 2:14:47).
