New Mansoura City is one of the cities affiliated to the New Urban Communities Authority, which was built according to a republican decree in 2017 to be used to build a new urban community. It was scheduled to be finalized by 2018.
- New Mansoura City overlooks the Mediterranean Sea for a length of 15 km.
- The City is located in the middle of the governorates of Dakahlia, Kafr El Sheikh and Damietta.
- The Republican Decree No. 378 of 2017 was issued to have the city established on an area of 5104 feddans.
- A presidential decree No. (8) for the year 2018 was issued regarding adding an area of 809 feddans so that the total area of the city would be 5913 feddans.
- The Minister of Housing laid the foundation stone on 22/8/2017.
- The New City of Mansoura is implemented in four stages.
- The area of the first phase of the new city of Mansoura is about 2063 feddans.
- The President of the Republic inaugurated the new city of Mansoura on 1-3-2018.

- The city will be built on an area of 4,000 feddans with investments of more than 60 billion pounds.
- The city is planned to accommodate more than one and a half million people.
- The first phase of the city represents 40% of the total area (25,000 housing units).
- The city will include different types of housing from tourists residential areas, villas and middle-class and social housing.
- The city is characterized by special features, which are represented in unique highs, designs, colors, roads and infrastructure with highest qualities, in addition to the tourists hotels that serve the city visitors with the aim of medical tourism.
- The city has all the necessary services and facilities that will provide the comfort of its residents, including:
- Logistics and service area.
-Regional University.
- A private university affiliated to Mansoura University.
-Scientific Research Centers.
-Medical City.
- Technological industries zones.
- Corniche on the road with a width of 56 meters.
- A group of public beaches.
- Sewage and drinking water networks.
- The area of the first phase is 2063 feddans.
- The first phase contains about 4704 units in the project of "Iskan Misr", about 11,000 units in the project of "Dar Misr", social housing projects and desalination plant.
- The city includes a villa area including a townhouse, twinhouses, and independent villas with large spaces.
- The new city of Mansoura will be fully built and will not be sold as land plots.
- The applicant should be have thee Egyptian nationality.
- The age of the applicant should not be less than 21 years.
- The applicant should not have any housing units in the social housing project.
- The priority of booking units in general goes to the people of Mansoura.
The university is built on an area of 197 feddans and includes many faculties:
•Faculty of Human Medicine.
• Faculty of Pharmacy.
• Faculty of Dentistry.
• Faculty of Science.
• Faculty of Engineering 1.
• Faculty of Engineering 2.
• Faculty of Textile Science and Engineering.
• Faculty of International Legal Transactions and Faculty of Business Administration.
