New Administrative Capital and 6th of October Monorail is being introduced in Egypt for the first time. It represents a major shift in transportation as it increases communication between cities and urban areas, facilitates the movement of citizens and reduces the use of private cars. This type of transportation is characterized as fast, modern, safe and environmentally friendly means of transport.It also helps reduce fuel consumption and lowers environmental pollution rates.

This type of transportation is characterized as fast, modern, safe and environmentally friendly means of transport.It also helps reduce fuel consumption and lowers environmental pollution rates.
It connects Cairo Governorate from the stadium station in the third line of the subway on Salah Salem Street with each of New Cairo and the New Administrative Capital, which is 54 km long. It consists of 21 stations, namely (the stadium - Hisham Barakat - Noori Khattab -
the seventh district - the free zone - Al-Mosheer Tantawi - Cairo Festival - Choueifat - Air Force Hospital - Al-Narges District - Mohamed Naguib - the American University - Emaar - Al-Nafoura Square - Al-Barwa - the Middle Ring Road - Mohamed bin Zayed - Regional Ring Road - Al-Massa Hotel - Al-Wezarat District - the Administrative Capital).
It connects Giza Governorate starting from Gamaet El-Dewal Station in the third line of the metro with 6th of October and Sheikh Zayed's cities and new expansions in 6th of October city. This line is almost 42 km long and it includes 12 stations: Gamaet El-Dewal Station - Ring Road - El-Marioutia - El-Mansouria - (Cairo / Alexandria) - Hyper One - Juhayna - Urban Communities Authority - El-Hosary - Dar Al Fouad - Industrial Zone - Express Train.
The two lines will be able to transport 45,000 passengers per hour in each direction upon reaching the maximum capacity.
