The project consists of four stages, with a capacity of 52,000 m3/day, with each stage having a capacity of 13,000 m3/day.
The first and second stages of the station were designed using the Conventional treatment system, while the third and fourth stages used the oxidation ditch treatment method.
Each of the four stages consists of an initial sedimentation tank, an aeration tank, a final sedimentation tank, a contact tank, a sludge thickener for the two stages, and 128 drying tanks.
The station produces approximately 12,000 cubic meters of tertiary treated water for use in irrigating green spaces.
The station aims to serve 160,000 residents of Beni Suef New City, in addition to 30,000 visitors from university students and factory workers.
