President El-Sisi Follows Up on Implementation Status of Robbiki Leather City

President Abdel Fattah El-Sisi met today with Prime Minister Dr. Mostafa Madbouly, Minister of Trade and Industry Ms. Nevine Gamea, and Director of Armed Forces Engineering Authority Advisory Office Major General Ashraf El-Araby.

The Spokesman for the Egyptian Presidency stated that the meeting discussed the implementation status of the infrastructure of Robbiki Leather City, especially hangars, workshops, stores and exhibitions.

In this context, the President called for building the infrastructure of Robbiki Leather City in accordance with the highest engineering standards and to provide it with the latest machinery and equipment to ensure the high quality of products for it to become a model for the specialized industrial zones, and to contribute effectively to the national industry sector, within the framework of the State’s related efforts.

The President also gave directives, in the same context, for providing the necessary financial resources to meet any additional needs and to attach importance to strengthening cooperation with the ancient foreign expertise in this field to raise the city's competitive productive capabilities and localize technology.
