President El-Sisi Heads to Djibouti for Summit Meeting with Its President

President Abdel Fattah El-Sisi headed this morning for a summit meeting in Djibouti with the President of the Republic of Djibouti Ismail Omar Guelleh.

The Spokesman for the Egyptian Presidency stated that this historic visit of the President to Djibouti, the first of its kind, would include an Egyptian-Djiboutian summit held for discussing various files related to joint cooperation and ways to strengthen bilateral relations, particularly on the security, military, and economic levels. This would contribute to achieving the interests of the two brotherly countries and embody the mutual strong will to promote bilateral cooperation.

In addition, the Egyptian-Djiboutian summit is scheduled to discuss and exchange views on the developments on regional issues of mutual interest.
