President El-Sisi Visits State’s Strategic Leadership Center in New Administrative Capital

This afternoon, President El-Sisi went on a tour of inspection of the State’s Strategic Leadership Center (SSLC) which has been lately established in the New Administrative Capital (NAC). The construction adhered to the latest technologies aligned with Egypt’s future vision. The President was accompanied by the Prime Minister, Minister of Defense and Military Production, Chief of Staff of the Armed Forces and a number military leaders.

The Spokesman stated that His Excellency listened to an in-depth explanation of all the components of the new SSLC, its latest construction and infrastructure updates that were executed, the state-of-the-art designs and implementations using the latest communication and information technologies along surveillance systems and smart systems for leadership and control – which would enhance the State’s capabilities to manage its institutions with the highest efficiency possible under any circumstances- and finally, the administrative and specialized units within the new complex.

During the visit, the President praised the efforts made to finalize and get the SSLC’s units ready based on the planned timeline, assuring the State’s keenness to upgrade its capabilities in all fields to keep up with the latest scientific and technical progress to preserve the security and the territorial integrity of the Nation.

The SSLC includes a number of centers that ensure proper control and fluidity in managing different State’s institutions while preparing to face any crises or emergencies. The complex stretches over 22 thousand feddans, containing 13 zones – each with its own specific role-, a coordination center of the State’s defense affairs, the unified strategic data center acting as the central unit for all State’s institutions information center, a closed strategic network control center governing the administrative body of the State, an administrative center controlling the State’s agencies, a communication center control unit that ensures the stability of communications nationwide, other centers governing the emergencies and field security services, weather forecast center issuing weather forecasts and changes on regular basis to prepare against any natural calamities and a number of storage areas containing strategic products in order to support the people when needed.

The SSLC complex also includes a number of places of worship, sporting clubs, hotels, schools, sports fields, housing projects, malls, hospitals and several service and administrative centers. The Complex is secured by two units from the Republican Guards and other security services.

The new SSLC complex is an embodiment of Egypt’s future vision; a promising regional force, a pioneering nation that has and will always be capable of defeating any obstacles while achieving the inspirations of its unified people and strong armed forces.
