President Abdel Fattah El-Sisi met this morning Prince William, Duke of Cambridge and elder son of the UK’s Crown Prince, at Buckingham Palace.
The Spokesman for the Egyptian Presidency said that President El-Sisi expressed his appreciation for the British warm reception, praising the extended Egyptian-British cooperation relations, and the advanced the level they recently reached at various levels during the recent period, stressing Egypt’s aspiration to strengthen these relations, especially in the fields of tourism and education, as well as at the economic and trade levels by maximizing the volume of British investments in Egypt.
From his side, Prince William welcomed the President, expressing Britain's appreciation to Egypt at the official and popular levels, praising the steps of the Egyptian economic reforms and major national projects being implemented. He affirmed Britain's keenness to support Egypt's development efforts in all fields through the exchange of experiences and joint investment. Prince William praised the pivotal role played by Egypt in consolidating stability in the Middle East and Africa, achieving inter-religious coexistence and supporting peaceful solutions to crises in its regional environment.
