It gives me pleasure to welcome the First Lady of the Republic of Croatia, Sanja Milanović, to her second country, Egypt. We had a profound and rich discussion on social protection files adopted by the Egyptian State in education, awareness-raising on birth control, and curbing early marriage. This is, in addition to efforts in the fields of public health and the elimination of Hepatitis C virus and endemic diseases.
Our discussion tackled the political leadership’s interest in the differently-abled as well as women's political empowerment. We also focused on voluntary work initiatives responsible for education, awareness, and the development of villages in all governorates, the most prominent of which is the “Decent Life” initiative and its effective role in changing life in all parts of Egypt.
Once again, I welcome Ms. Sanja Milanović as a dear and valued guest in Egypt.
