The Arab Republic of Egypt condemns the assassination of President of the Republic of Haiti Jovenel Moïse and extends its sincere condolences to the Haitian government and people in their bereavement. Egypt stresses that perpetrators should be brought to justice promptly.
In this regard, Egypt calls on all parties in Haiti to resume the political process in the country and to restore stability in a way that ensures the security of the Haitian people and the integrity of state institutions.
