President El-Sisi Witnesses the Swearing-in of New Prosecutor General

Today, President Abdel Fattah El-Sisi witnessed the swearing-in of Counselor Mohamed Shawky Ayyad as Prosecutor General.

Spokesman for the Presidency, Counselor Ahmed Fahmy, said the President wished the new Prosecutor General success in carrying out his duties and responsibilities, within the framework of the rule of law and hard work to safeguard citizens’ rights in accordance with the constitution and the law.

President El-Sisi awarded the Order of the Republic, First Class, to Counselor Hamada El-Sawy, the former Prosecutor General, expressing his sincere appreciation for his efforts to protect and safeguard the rights of citizens and society.
