Today, President Abdel Fattah El-Sisi met with Commander-in-Chief of the Armed Forces and Minister of Defense and Military Production Lieutenant General Ashraf Salem Zaher, President's Advisor for Urban Planning Major General Amir Sayed Ahmed, President's Advisor for Financial Affairs Lieutenant General Ahmed El-Shazly, Head of the National Authority for Management and Investment Major General Mahmoud Rizq and President & CEO of Tatweer Misr Dr. Ahmed Shalaby.
The Spokesman for the Presidency, Ambassador Mohamed El-Shennawy, stated that the meeting reviewed the comprehensive development plan for Galala City over the next four years, within the framework of planning for the city's operation. The President also reviewed the progress of ongoing projects in Galala City, which serves as Egypt's new waterfront on the Red Sea coast. The President emphasized the importance of completing the projects according to the highest international standards and within the designated timeframes, in line with the state's vision to establish a comprehensive global economic system in the region. This aligns with the exceptional location and will positively impact investment, tourism, and job creation, contributing to the comprehensive development of this vital area.
The meeting also reviewed the comprehensive development plan for the second phase of IL Monte Galala project in Galala City. The President approved the overall concept of the project and its implementation in partnership with the private sector. The President gave directives to modify the Ain Sokhna/Zaafarana road route to prevent traffic accidents and construct several tourist residential towers directly on the Red Sea coast, also establishing service marina for the area, hotels with economic, medical, and educational facilities, and floating docks to attract international companies. This shall transfirm the region into an international trade hub. The President also emphasized the importance of establishing an integrated residential area for those working in the city, including housing, schools, and all necessary services.
