Today, President Abdel Fattah El-Sisi participated in the third Russia-Africa Summit in Moscow.
The Spokesman for the Presidency, Ambassador Mohamed El-Shennawy, stated that Russian President Vladimir Putin welcomed President El-Sisi at the Kremlin. A commemorative group photo was taken of the heads of the delegations participating in the summit.
The President subsequently participated in the summit’s plenary session. During the session, a set of documents defining the framework for cooperation between the African and Russian sides for the coming period was adopted. These include the summit’s final declaration, a declaration on cooperation in the civilian use of artificial intelligence technologies, and an action plan for the Russia-Africa Partnership Forum for the 2027–2029 period.
President El-Sisi also delivered a speech during the session.
Following the conclusion of the plenary session, the President is scheduled to participate in a working lunch for the heads of state and delegations attending the third Russia-Africa Summit.
