The Ministry of Emigration and Egyptian Expatriate's Affairs seeks to work on:

• Preserving the Egyptian identity for the children of Egyptians abroad.
• Anti-illegal Immigration Program.
• Supporting Egyptian communities and enhancing international cooperation and Egypt's foreign policy in the areas of migration.
• The presidential initiative, “Lifeboats”, to raise awareness of the dangers of illegal immigration.
