The King Fouad Railway Station Post Office in Kafr El-Sheikh Governorate was upgraded within a plan to preserve buildings of great historical value. The office was renovated, modernized and restored using the latest sustainability approaches, while preserving its unique architectural character and Egyptian identity.
As the office was a railway station designated for King Fouad since 1920, the station was renovated and its heritage and unique architectural design was restored.
The development plan covers not only architectural design, but also included digitalization services and the availability of Egypt's digital services. This is to provide high-quality services and create a smooth experience for more than 40 million Egypt Post customers. The office contains six customer service windows that provide postal, financial, and governmental services to citizens.
