The dry port was established in the 6th of October City on an area of 100 feddans and is equipped with electronic gates in order for container trucks to enter and exit.
The port contains 10 buildings; administrative, ambulance, octagon, detection, firefighting, customs and government interests.
The port also includes trading spaces on an area of 60 feddans, with a trading capacity of 720 containers/day, a storage capacity of 260,000 containers, 5 railway lines with a length of 4.8 km and roads that cover an area of 70,000 square meters.
This is in addition to a parking lot for trucks, a parking lot that can accommodate 50 cars, an umbrella and customs warehouse.
