Inauguration of Seawater Desalination Plant in Ras Sudr

A seawater desalination plant has been inaugurated in Ras Sudr, with a daily capacity of 30,000 cubic meters. The project consists of the following:

Desalination building 20 x 30 m
Storage units 4 x 8 m
Pipe network of different diameters
Administrative building 11 x 20 m
Seawater Intake
Building for inverters and generators 6 x 20 m
450m long wall
2 desalination units with a daily production capacity of 5000 cubic meters
2 electric generators
Preliminary treatment facilities
Desalinated water lift pumps
Filter canopy
Energy saver that utilizes returned water to save 40% of the energy consumed
2 polyethylene lines connecting the desalination plant of an 800m diameter with a total length of 2.7 km and a pressure of 10 bar.
