All of the hospital surfaces have been renovated. The total number of beds has become 298. The hospital includes the following: kidney dialysis unit, x-ray unit, laboratories, operation theaters, intensive care unit and intracytoplasmic sperm injection (ICSI) unit. The hospital also includes a specialized diabetes clinic equipped with the latest technologies to treat diabetes in Egypt; it is the second of its kind in Egypt.
There are also cardiology, ophthalmology, kidney, diabetic-foot, gestational diabetes and neurology clinics; along a laboratory and pharmacy. The hospital also includes lecture halls, nutrition clinic and several other specialized clinics. The capabilities of the hospital have been upgraded by increasing the in-patient beds, neonatal intensive care units, kidney dialysis machines and operation theaters with a total cost of EGP 727 million.
