Through video conference, President El-Sisi gave the signal for the inauguration of Steigenberger Hotel El-Lessan on an area of 4200 square meters, which is the first 5-star hotel in the middle of the delta. It includes "basement - ground floor - 5 floors - 142 rooms - 15 suites - rooms for people with special needs - 4 halls and conference rooms - restaurants - cafes".
A contract of usufruct was signed by the governorate and the Holding Company for Tourism and Hotels of the Ministry of Public Business Sector for a period of 49 years, provided that the governorate receives a usufruct in return for an annual increase of 7%, provided that the hotel returns to the governorate after the end of the period.
