Today, President Abdel Fattah El-Sisi met with Commander-in-Chief of the Armed Forces and Minister of Defense and Military Production Lieutenant General Ashraf Salem Zaher; Head of the Armed Forces Engineering Authority Major General Walid Aref; and Assistant Chief of Staff of the Armed Forces for Engineering Projects Major General Ahmed Fouda. The meeting took place at the Strategic Command headquarters in the New Capital.
Spokesman for the Presidency Ambassador Mohamed El-Shennawy stated that the President reviewed the status of projects currently being implemented by the Armed Forces Engineering Authority in cooperation with various ministries, state agencies, and authorities across several service and development sectors. The meeting aimed at monitoring the projects’ execution timelines and completion schedules.
President El-Sisi also followed up on the implementation status of various cooperation protocols signed between the Armed Forces Engineering Authority and a number of ministries, governmental bodies, and agencies to carry out several service and development projects in many vital sectors.
The President emphasized the importance of completing these projects as quickly as possible in order to improve and enhance the quality and efficiency of services provided to citizens across many service sectors.
President El-Sisi also stressed the need for serious efforts to complete the developmental aspects of these projects, in order to achieve numerous targeted development goals and support sustainable development within the Egyptian state.
