President El-Sisi Receives UAE President at Cairo Airport

Today, President Abdel Fattah El-Sisi received the President of the UAE, His Highness Sheikh Mohammed bin Zayed Al Nahyan, at Cairo International Airport.
The Spokesman for the Presidency stated that the two leaders discussed ways to enhance the distinguished cooperation between the two countries and the promising opportunities to expand its horizons to broader levels, strengthening the deep partnership between the two countries in various economic, investment, development, and political fields.

The two leaders reviewed regional issues of common interest, especially the intensified efforts to reach a ceasefire in the Gaza Strip and the implementation of humanitarian aid in quantities sufficient to alleviate the immense humanitarian suffering in the sector. They also emphasized the necessity of activating the two-state solution as the way to achieve justice, security, and stability in the region.

After concluding discussions, President El-Sisi was keen to see off H.H. Sheikh Mohammed bin Zayed Al Nahyan at Cairo International Airport.
