President El-Sisi Meets Board of Trustees of the National Training Academy

Today, President Abdel Fattah El-Sisi met with the Board of Trustees of the National Training Academy in the presence of Prime Minister Dr. Moustafa Madbouly, Commander-in-Chief of the Armed Forces and Minister of Defense and Military Production Lieutenant General Ashraf Salem, Executive Director of the National Training Academy Dr. Solafa El-Goueili, and Director of the Egyptian Military Academy Major General Mohamed Salah El-Turky.

The Spokesman for the Presidency, Ambassador Mohamed El-Shennawy, said the meeting reviewed the proposed strategic plan for the National Training Academy, its vision and mission, including developing human capital and building leaders capable of leading institutional and societal transformation, thereby enhancing Egypt's regional and international position. The plan also focuses on effectively contributing to developing the administrative apparatus, preparing qualified national cadres, leading positive change in societal issues, and disseminating the values ​​of leadership, innovation, and institutional integration, thus supporting Egypt's soft power and its leadership within its regional and international surrounding.

The Executive Director of the National Training Academy reviewed the strategic objectives the Academy seeks to achieve. These include preparing qualified personnel capable of developing the state's administrative apparatus, contributing to building national and developmental awareness that will positively impact Egyptian society, positioning the Academy as a regional training hub, thus further enhancing Egypt's standing within its regional and international surrounding.

In this context, the implementation status of the strategy was reviewed, along with ways to develop the Academy to ensure the sustainability of its training impact and maximize the utilization of its accumulated expertise. The Executive Director of the National Training Academy emphasized that the Academy's work is based on the latest training and capacity-building methodologies, aligning with the Egyptian state's orientation across various sectors. This is achieved through integrated training and presidential programs that enhance leadership and technical skills, particularly for young people, and solidify modern management concepts, thereby supporting the efficiency of the state's administrative apparatus and meeting the requirements of the new republic.

President El-Sisi emphasized the importance of investing in human capital through training, knowledge transfer, and skills development, which are key for improving institutional performance and enhancing the ability to implement public policies efficiently and flexibly. The President stressed the need for the National Training Academy to select its trainees and students objectively. The President further emphasized that the Academy should offer robust training and development programs aligned with the state's priorities and development plans, and implement a rigorous testing system that reflects a genuine and impartial assessment, relying on digitalization and Artificial Intelligence. This is in addition to the importance of fully implementing the Academy's strategy and plans, and establishing strategic regional and international partnerships with prestigious institutions that share common goals, to exchange expertise and share resources, thereby ensuring outstanding results in a shorter timeframe.
