President El-Sisi Speaks with Turkish President Erdoğan

Today, President Abdel Fattah El-Sisi spoke by phone with Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdoğan to congratulate him on winning the presidential election and being re-elected for a new term. The Turkish president expressed his appreciation for President El-Sisi's kind gesture. 
The two presidents confirmed the deep historical ties that bind the two countries and peoples and agreed to strengthen relations and cooperation between the two sides. The two presidents decided to immediately start elevating diplomatic relations between the two countries and exchanging ambassadors.
