Today, President Abdel Fattah El-Sisi gave directives to the government to study taking the necessary measures to close the Regional Ring Road in areas undergoing efficiency upgrades and maintenance work, while providing suitable and safe alternatives. This is to ensure the safety of citizens and guarantee the completion of the work as quickly as possible.
President El-Sisi also instructed the Ministry of Interior to promptly take legal action against violators and to intensify its efforts in the coming period to enforce discipline and compliance with the law on all roads, particularly in regard to speed and load limits, in order to preserve the lives and funds of citizens.
