Today, President Abdel Fattah El-Sisi heads to the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia at the invitation of his brother Crown Prince and Prime Minister, His Royal Highness Prince Mohammed bin Salman bin Abdulaziz Al Saud.
Spokesman for the Presidency, Ambassador Mohamed El-Shennawy, said the President’s visit comes within the framework of the solid historical relations Egypt and the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia share. He confirmed that the visit embodies the two leaderships’ commitment to fostering closer bilateral relations between the two countries, and seeks to enhance their persistent coordination and consultations on regional and international issues of mutual interest.
Talks between President El-Sisi and His Royal Highness Prince Mohammed bin Salman, which will be held in the city of Neom, will focus on ways to further strengthen and reinforce the strategic partnership between the two countries to achieve their joint benefit across the various political, economic and developmental levels. The two leaders will also discuss developments in the region, primarily the latest in the Israeli war in the Gaza Strip, in addition to Lebanon, Syria, Sudan, Libya, Yemen and security in the Red Sea.
