President El-Sisi Follows Up on "Egypt's Future" Project

President El-Sisi held a follow up meeting today with Air Force Commander Lieutenant General Mohammed Abbas Helmy, Adviser to the President for Urban Planning Major General Amir Sayed Ahmed, Adviser to the President for Financial Affairs Major General Mohamed Amin, Head of the Armed Forces Engineering Authority Major General Ehab El-Far, Head of the Armed Forces Financial Affairs Authority Major General Ahmed El-Shazly, and Squadron Leader Bahaa El-Din Al-Ghanam.

As stated by the Spokesman for the Egyptian Presidency, the meeting discussed the latest updates of “Egypt’s Future” (Mostakbal Masr) national project that aims to increase Egypt’s agricultural plot by 500,000 feddans across El-Dabaa axis. President El-Sisi was briefed on the developments of the current and future phases and the irrigation water as well as the financial cost needed for this project.

In this regard, the President stressed the importance of maintaining and achieving meritocracy, implementing “Egypt’s Future” project, providing all the needed factors of success, and creating partnership with private sectors investors. It was added that this mega project is considered an added value to the chain of national projects in the fields of agricultural and food production and land reclamation. It also contributes to the national strategy for building and development by increasing the agricultural area, providing more job opportunities and achieving the target economic and development growth for future generations.
