President El-Sisi Inspects Roads and Axes Projects in Greater Cairo

Today, President Abdel Fattah El-Sisi conducted an inspection of a number of roads and axes being developed in Greater Cairo. These roads and axes connect East Cairo from El-Shaheed Axis, Gehan Al-Sadat Axis, Al-Mithaq Axis and Shinzo Abe Axis which leads to New Cairo, the New Administrative Capital, and new cities.
The President stopped for a discussion with workers on Samir Ghanem’s Bridge, which connects Shinzo Abe Axis and New Cairo, crossing Naguib Mahfouz Axis, to be updated on the construction status and workflow.
His Excellency also passed over several axes that are currently under development in New Cairo: Mostafa Kamel, Yusuf Sibai, Taha Hussein and Sadat axes. The latest includes 3 industrial operations, overpasses in order to facilitate and free up traffic within these areas and the new cities towards East Cairo and the New Administrative Capital.
The President was also briefed on the development process of the sewage system in New Cairo. The development process is being made in parallel with the construction of the new roads and axes in order to transfer sewage water to Al-Gabal Al-Asfar Wastewater Treatment Plant in Suez Road.
