Today, President Abdel Fattah El-Sisi received a phone call from the President of the Republic of Kazakhstan, Kassym Tokayev.
The Spokesman for the Presidency stated that the two presidents exchanged views on regional issues during the call, as well as issues pertinent to cooperation between the two countries, namely increasing mutual investment opportunities and maximizing the volume of trade. This is in addition to cooperation in the sectors of health, agriculture, tourism and culture, as well as coordination and the exchange of information between the concerned agencies.
The President confirmed the special Egyptian-Kazakh relations and Egypt's keenness to strengthen the mechanisms of joint cooperation between the two countries at various levels to achieve the common interests of the two friendly peoples.
The president of Kazakhstan expressed that his country holds in high regard the close and constructive cooperation relations that it shares with Egypt, in light of Egypt's distinct position and regional leverage in its geographical surroundings. He affirmed Kazakhstan's mutual interest in strengthening cooperation between the two countries.
