President Abdel Fattah El-Sisi received today Mr. Peter Lürssen, Owner and CEO of global German shipbuilder Lürssen, in the presence of Commander of the Navy Lieutenant General Ahmed Khaled along with Rear Admiral Mohamed Ibrahim and Captain Mohamed Nagy.
The Spokesman for the Egyptian Presidency stated that the meeting discussed the state’s efforts to localize marine industries in all aspects. Hence, ways to develop shipyards were presented along with methods of qualifying and training national young cadres working in this field. Furthermore, infrastructure development efforts for the necessary equipment were addressed with a view to keeping pace with the latest global technologies.
