President El-Sisi Receives High-Level Emirati Delegation

President Abdel Fattah El-Sisi received at the presidential headquarters in New Alamein City this morning a high-level Emirati delegation headed by the UAE’s National Security Adviser Sheikh Tahnoun bin Zayed Al Nahyan.

The Spokesman for the Egyptian Presidency stated that the meeting discussed several areas of bilateral cooperation between Egypt and the UAE, particularly in the economic and commercial aspects.

President El-Sisi and H.H. Sheikh Al Nahyan also addressed efforts to promote joint Emirati-Egyptian investments in Egypt in various sectors.

Sheikh Tahnoun conveyed to the President the greetings of his brother, His Highness Sheikh Mohammed bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Crown Prince of Abu Dhabi and Deputy Supreme Commander of the UAE Armed Forces.

Furthermore, Sheikh Tahnoun praised the attractive investment and commercial climate created in Egypt in light of the comprehensive development process witnessed in the country under the leadership of President El-Sisi. As a result, unprecedented Emirati and foreign investment opportunities have been provided in the Middle East and Africa at large.

President El-Sisi stressed the UAE's keenness to strengthen strategic cooperation between the two countries at various levels and its aspiration to maintain relations for future generations.

For his part, President El-Sisi asked that his greetings be conveyed to His Highness Sheikh Mohammed bin Zayed. The President welcomed the UAE delegation’s visit to Egypt and praised the strong and advanced brotherly relationship manifested in various levels between Egypt and the UAE.

The President further expressed Egypt’s aspiration to strengthen bilateral relations in furtherance of the interests of the two brotherly countries and peoples.

Egypt is also keen to seek out prospects for cooperation in all fields, especially in the sectors in which the two countries enjoy preferential advantages, the President added. The aim is to consolidate the strategic relationship between the two countries, which represents a pillar of stability in the entire Arab region.
