President El-Sisi Attends Graduation Ceremony of Police Cadets at Police Academy

President Abdel Fattah El-Sisi attended this morning the graduation ceremony of police cadets, class of 2020, at the premises of the Police Academy in New Cairo. The graduation ceremony was attended by Judge Adly Mansour, Speaker of the House of Representatives Dr. Ali Abdel-Al, Prime Minister Dr. Mostafa Madbouly, Minister of Interior Major General Mahmoud Tawfik, and a number of ministers, officials, public figures, and the families of graduates.

At the start of the celebration, the national anthem was played and the Police Academy President gave a statement and presented President Abdel Fattah El-Sisi with a memorial gift during the graduation ceremony.

The new graduates of the Police Academy, with the participation of a number of cadets of the Military Academy, performed a show displaying military, combat and other fighting capabilities and sports skills, applying what they have learned in the Academy over the past four years. The show also depicted the crime scenes and showed their remarkable capabilities in dealing with all forms of crimes to protect Egyptian citizens and ensure their safety.

The graduates also performed shows with police dogs to detect explosives and presented their skills on how to dismantle explosive devices.

The new graduates also presented their skills in breaking into terrorist and criminal hideouts and dealing with dangerous elements using weapons. They also showcased how to professionally deal with explosive devices and dismantle them and hold live-fire drills using modern methods. Cadets were trained with the latest practical systems, which are compatible with security standards. They also took courses on means of dealing with citizens, observing human rights and providing the best security services.

The performances were concluded with a military parade held by the cadets, followed by the handover ceremony. At the end of the ceremony, the cadets and law school students, who graduated from the Police Academy, took the oath of allegiance before President Abdel Fattah El-Sisi. His Excellency honored the first-ranked graduates, expatriates, law school graduates and specialized officers; they were awarded the Medal of Excellence, second class, which recognizes those who excel in their studies at the Academy.

Minister of Interior Major General Mahmoud Tawfik delivered a speech on the occasion of the graduation of a new batch of cadets from the Police Academy.

A minute of silence was observed to mourn the death of the martyrs who sacrificed their souls for the sake of the nation, after which the martyr’s anthem was played. Some of the graduates, sons and daughters of the martyrs, confirmed that they will pursue their parents’ path to protect the homeland.

President Abdel Fattah El-Sisi congratulated the graduates, stressing that every Egyptian should deem them family. The martyrdom of their fathers is revered since they have sacrificed their lives for the sake of 100 million Egyptians, the President added.

President Abdel Fattah El-Sisi welcomed and greeted all the students’ families for raising their children to defend their nation when they grow up.

President Abdel Fattah El-Sisi congratulated the graduates, wishing them success and praying to Allah to protect them from all harm.
