Lieutenant General Kamel El-Wazir Sworn-in before El-Sisi as the Minister of Transportation

Lieutenant General Kamel El-Wazir was sworn-in before El-Sisi as the new Minister of Transportation.
The Spokesman for the Presidency said that after the swearing-in, the President met with Prime Minister Dr. Mostafa Madbouli and Minister of Transportation Lieutenant General Kamel El-Wazir. During the meeting, the President called for exerting the utmost efforts to develop the railway system in a comprehensive manner to improve the railway system, given the importance of that sector and its direct impact on the daily lives of citizens.

The President also stressed the necessity of taking all the necessary measures and procedures required to promote and develop the safety and security standards of the railways, to rely on modern electronic systems and to further develop the national road network at the level of the Republic with committing to the set plans and schedules within that framework.
