Today, President Abdel Fattah El-Sisi received the International Award of the Special Olympics.
The Spokesman for the Presidency explained that the award is one of the most prestigious awards granted to kings, presidents, and benevolent individuals that care for people of determination, also in recognition of President El-Sisi’s support for them.
A delegation from the heads of the seven regions of the International Special Olympics, in the presence of Minister of Social Solidarity Ms. Nivine El Kabbag, delivered the award to the President this morning at Ittihadia Palace.
President El-Sisi expressed his gratitude for receiving the award, which reflects appreciation for Egypt's ongoing efforts to embody the humanitarian message towards people of determination; a message based on the values of love, respect and appreciation for them and their differences.
