Damanhour Medical National Institute

President Abdel Fattah El-Sisi inaugurated Damanhour Medical National Institute on 19/9/2018, which is one of the largest medical buildings added to the new medical system. The Institute covers 1200 square meters and includes 273 beds. It consists of the basement, a ground floor and 7 floors.

The Institute was developed by the National Service Projects Organization of the Armed Forces. The Institute serves the patients of El-Beheira and Kafr El-Sheikh. It is specialized in conducting major operations, such as organ transplantation, especially liver and cornea, open heart surgery and major orthopedic surgery, comprising 17 operating rooms and 4 recovery rooms that include 18 beds and 26 beds for the Intensive care unit.
