The 28-Km-long axis comprises three traffic lanes in each direction. It has 25 industrial works with a total length of 3481 metres, including the Nile Bridge with a length of 1170 metres.
The axis connects the Eastern Agricultural Road to the Western Desert Road, and aims to create new urban communities in desert areas and support investment projects. The axis also links the governorates of Qena and Sohag to neighboring centers and governorates.
