Fish Farming Project, East of the Canal (Phase II)

President El-Sisi witnessed the inauguration of the second phase of the fish farming project, east of the Canal, Ismailia. It is affiliated to the Suez Canal Authority and built in an integrated manner through building fish farms that include 4441 fish and crustaceans, as well as feed and packaging factories. The project aims to contribute to bridging the food gap, reducing fish imports, developing the Suez Canal and Sinai region, and creating new urban communities, as well as providing about 3 thousand direct and indirect jobs, which will rise to 10,000 jobs after project phases are completed.
