In March 2017, President Abdel Fattah El-Sisi checked out the executive position of the New Administrative Capital, especially in the government district, which is being implemented by the Armed Forces Engineering Authority and a number of Egyptian companies. Facilities and infrastructure are implemented in fast-paced rates beyond expectations. During the meeting, the architectural designs of the buildings of the ministries, the House of Representatives and the Council of Ministers were presented within the framework of the work of first priority on an area of 10 thousand feddans while the area of the first phase is 40 thousand feddans of the total area of 170 acres of the New Administrative Capital.
The President stressed the need to adhere to the schedule set for the implementation of the government district, stressing the need to start from the latest developments in the systems of design and architectural planning.
The Ministry of Housing is allocating 3 thousand feddans to the real estate developers and investors after supplying them with facilities. The cost of the construction of the residential and government districts amounts to 10 billion pounds for the implementation of 25 thousand housing units in the residential district ranging from 100 meters to 180 meters.
